The department was established on the basis of the order of the rector of the university No. 10 of August 18, 2022.
The department has a total of 12 professors and teachers, including 2 PhDs, 2 senior teachers, 8 assistants and 2 scientific, 1 PhD external substitute teachers. From September 15, 2023, Tillaev Doniyor Rakhimovich has been working as the head of the department.
The main tasks of the department's team are to train mature bachelors and masters in the field of sports, to carry out methodological and scientific research work. In addition, 7 students of master's degree study at the department.
