About the Department

By the order of the Rector of Alfraganus University dated August 18, 2023, the Department of Mathematics and Physics was established within the Faculty of Digital Technologies.

Currently, the department employs 12 academic staff members, including 4 Professors, 4 Associate Professors, and 4 Senior Lecturers.

Since August 29, 2023, the Head of the Department has been Dr. Obidjon Khayrullaevich Abdullayev, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences.

Main Objectives of the Department:

• To train highly qualified bachelors and masters in the fields of mathematics, applied mathematics, and physics;
• To develop new types of educational materials and textbooks according to educational programs;
• To conduct scientific research at the international level;
• To regularly organize scientific seminars with the participation of local and foreign specialists.
