Information about Centers or Departments

Basic information

Information about department duties and activities: chancellery is considered as a main administrative department in AU(University of Alfraganus).

It controls workflow based on ministry`s regulations cooperatively and directly with other departments and faculties of AU; Moreover, formulating reports (monthly, quarterly, semiannually and annually) of AU is also included into duties of this department;

The department works with both individuals and legal entities and replies their questions concerning legalization, controlling and studying. It includes the department of archive. The chancellery works under the direct supervision of rector according to university’s organizational structure.

The main objective of the department is to establish a unified procedure for fast and high-quality workflow in departments and faculties of AU and ensure their implementation on the basis of current guidelines on a single state system of record keeping and the procedure for preparing official documents;

          They also check the validity of documents provided by departments and faculties of AU, compliance with existing laws and regulations, and ensure their implementation;

Lastly, the department provides collected documents (orders, incoming and outgoing letters, books of registrations) with archiving in time and in the proper form of folders accumulated during its activity.

Chancellery also carries out activities regarding decrees and orders of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, orders of the Ministry Cabinet, orders of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan in compliance with the existing rules;

The department controls the registration and delivery of letters to the administration or the sender in time, checks the accuracy of the correspondence sent to the office;

The workflow of the chancellery is in state language;

          The staff of the department organize legalizing and sending letters in proper requirement (by fax, e-mail and etc.)

          The department provides all departments and management with newspaper.

The department uses the following rights during the implementation of the tasks assigned to it:

To address to the Council and to the NMMC with proposals on its field of activities;

To obtain required information and documents from the structural units of AU in accordance with established procedure;

To hold meetings on issues related to their activities;

To cooperate with relevant organizations in carrying out their activities.

About Archive

Archive carries out activities following to the decrees and orders of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, orders of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, agency of “UzArchive” under the Ministry Cabinet and in compliance with the existing rules.

The main functions of archive are accepting, registering, saving, using and sending letters and documents to Tashkent State Archive for permanent saving. According to normative-methodical documents given in the arrangement with Tashkent State Archive of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the archive collect and register and save expired documents of structural departments of the organization and internal offices considered as sources of restoring archive during the process of working;

 The Archive prepare the documents for saving by the State Archive and hand them in on time according to the law of the Republic of Uzbekistan - “On Work of Archive”.
