The Department of Quality Control in Education at Alfraganus University was established in accordance with Presidential Decree of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 5847 dated October 8, 2019, “On Approval of the Concept for the Development of the Higher Education System of the Republic of Uzbekistan until 2030,” Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 80 dated February 21, 2022, “On Approval of the Unified Regulation on Licensing Certain Types of Activities Through a Special Electronic System,” as well as Decision No. 1 of the University Council dated August 2024.

The primary goal of the Department is to study and analyze the compliance of university students’ knowledge with state educational standards, to conduct monitoring of the quality of personnel training, to organize the university’s internal attestation, and—based on its results—to identify factors that negatively affect the quality of education and to take measures to eliminate and prevent them.

Main tasks of the Department include:

Organizing systematic oversight to ensure that the quality of education at the university meets state educational standards (SES) and qualification requirements;

Ensuring the implementation of normative and legal documents aimed at improving the quality of education;

monitoring the status of indicators that determine the quality of education;

conducting monitoring of the quality of personnel training;

participating in the internal attestation process of the university;

taking part in developing measures and activities to raise the university’s ranking to an international level;

studying the processes of integration between the academic process and industry;

providing regular updates at the University Council, round tables, and conferences on the results of studies and monitoring carried out by the Department to improve the quality of education;

submitting relevant proposals to the university administration based on the results of examining the state of education quality.
