The Faculty of Social Sciences was established under the license of the state inspectorate for quality control of Education under the Cabinet of Ministers No. 034974 of August 12, 2022 (Dean-doctor of philosophical Sciences, Associate Professor Muhammedov Asror Asadovich).
At the time of its foundation, the Faculty of Social Sciences began its activities in the fields of pedagogy and psychology, primary education, preschool education, Defectology (by type of activity) and Bachelor of history education, as well as the specialty of Philosophy (by fields), pedagogy and psychology.
From the very beginning, our faculty has integrated structural units – departments, centers and laboratories engaged in the process of socio-humanitarian training of students:
On June 27, 2023, by Resolution No. 10 of the University Council, the Faculty of pedagogy was separated from the faculty, which includes the specialties of pedagogy and psychology, primary education, preschool education, Defectology (in terms of types of activities), undergraduate education, as well as Master’s degree in pedagogy and psychology.

The Faculty of Social Sciences currently operates 2 departments:
This faculty has established cooperation relations with higher education institutions and scientific centers of countries such as India, Turkey, Japan, China, Latvia, Sweden, USA and Canada to train highly qualified personnel for the labor market. Master classes and distance learning sessions are organized with foreign partners. This process contributes to the formation of professional skills of students on the basis of modern and world standards. It also strengthens students ‘ independent opinion and views on social issues in society.
Faculty opportunities:
The practice of students is carried out in state and non-governmental organizations that have achieved high success.
Professors and teachers with high potential and experience in auditoriums are teaching specialist subjects.
The departments have developed a list of elective subjects with an analysis of the educational plans of the world’s leading higher education institutions. In the credit-module system, the share of elective subjects is planned separately and is aimed at deep formation of professional skills related to the specialty in students.
