Biography
Safakhonov Berdiyor Bakhtiyorovich was born on January 5, 1982 in Tashkent region. Married, has 5 children.
B. Safakhonov received a bachelor's degree in "Regional Economics" from the National University of Uzbekistan in 2004 and a master's degree in "Public Administration" from Meiji University in Japan in 2015.
B. Safakhonov has many years of work experience, having worked for many years in state organizations and a number of companies in Japan and Turkey. He speaks Russian, English and Turkish fluently.
Authority of the Vice-Rector for International Cooperation
The Vice-Rector for International Cooperation's responsibilities include developing and implementing an international cooperation strategy, coordinating international partnerships, managing academic mobility programs (for students, faculty and staff), attracting international students and grants and representing the university internationally. The Vice-Rector is responsible for developing international activities and maintaining contacts with foreign educational and scientific organizations.
