The department was established by the decision of the university council No. 9 dated April 29, 2024.
A total of 10 professors and teachers, including 1 professor, 5 associate professors, 1 senior teacher and teachers work in the department. From August 7, 2024, Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), Associate Professor Boltayev Abror Sayitmuradovich has been working as the head of the department.
Subjects taught by the department:


2 textbooks and 1 study guide were prepared and published by the professors of the department. Also, 2 scientific monographs were published.
The priority direction of the scientific research activity of the department: Improvement of accounting, financial reporting, economic analysis, audit activity and finance-credit mechanism in the conditions of the digital economy.
21 scientific articles and abstracts of 10 international and republican scientific-practical conferences were published by professors and teachers of the department in this priority direction in foreign and local scientific journals.
In addition, professors and teachers of the department are conducting scientific research in this direction, and scientific seminars are being organized during the academic year:



At the same time, on September 18-19, 2025, it is planned to hold a Republican scientific and practical conference on the topic "Improvement of accounting, economic analysis and auditing activities and the financial and credit mechanism based on international standards in the conditions of the digital economy.

On 11–12 December 2025, Alfraganus University will host the Republican Scientific and Practical Symposium in Tashkent on the topic “Improving Accounting, Economic Analysis, Auditing Activities, and the Financial-Credit Mechanism Based on International Standards in the Context of the Digital Economy.”

The symposium aims to address pressing issues related to the comprehensive modernization of accounting, auditing, economic analysis, and the financial-credit mechanism in the digital economy, and to develop scientific and practical recommendations for implementing modern approaches in line with international standards.
The event is organized in accordance with the decisions and decrees of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan aimed at sector development, relevant documents of the Cabinet of Ministers, and the orders and directives of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The symposium provides an important scientific and practical platform for specialists in finance, accounting, auditing, economic analysis, corporate and digital governance, as well as for researchers, postgraduate students, university students, and representatives of higher education institutions. Participants will include representatives from leading universities, research institutes, banking and financial institutions, auditing firms, enterprises, and state regulatory bodies across the country.
