The department was created by decision of the University Council No. 1 dated August 29, 2023.

    The department employs 22 teachers, including 3 professors, 8 associate professors, 11 senior teachers and lecturers. Since August 24, 2023, the head of the department is Doctor of Economic Sciences (PhD) Mirzaev Bobur Soyibjonovich.

The staff of the department sets itself the main tasks of preparing mature bachelors and masters in the field of finance, accounting and auditing, taxation and taxation, banking and auditing, conducting educational, methodological, and research work. The department provides for the organization of courses in the disciplines "Accounting", "Accounting 1s", "Eviews, stata and R software (programs for economic and statistical analysis)", "Computer literacy (Microsoft Office)" and "Taxes and taxation ". A scientific seminar was organized within the department.
