Job Description

Duties of the First Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual and Educational Affairs:

- Organizing the implementation of the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan, decrees and orders of the President, resolutions of the Oliy Majlis and the Cabinet of Ministers in the field of education and personnel training;

- Organizing spiritual and educational work and ensuring the training of qualified personnel;

- Organizing the implementation of orders, orders and instructions of higher organizations responsible for issues related to spiritual and educational and educational processes, resolutions of the Academic Council of the AFU and orders and orders of the rector;

- Coordination and control of the work of departments, deaneries that provide spiritual and educational and educational processes;

- Approval of work plans for the spiritual and educational process of departments, faculties and chairs and control over their implementation;

- Develop proposals for the staffing of professors and teaching assistants, participate in organizing work to provide departments and departments with qualified personnel;

- Implement constant cooperation with higher educational institutions in the spiritual and educational direction, ensure the active participation of professors and teachers in conferences and seminars, work with local authorities;

- Determine and analyze the annual rating of the AFU in accordance with the established procedure, carry out work on improving its spiritual and educational activities;

- Actively participate in conducting regular internal certification of the AFU in accordance with the established procedure, preparing for and conducting external certification. Ensure the training of highly educated, qualified personnel with high spiritual and moral qualities, capable of independent thinking;

- Organizing the work of the Council for Humanitarian Education and Spiritual and Educational Affairs, coordinating the activities of the departments of social and humanitarian sciences and ensuring their active participation in the spiritual and educational work of the AFU;

- Instilling the national idea in the minds of students, forming practical, effective mechanisms for conducting spiritual and moral education, managing and consistently improving the spiritual and educational process;

- Developing current and prospective plans for spiritual and educational work and creating a system for monitoring their strict implementation;

- Coordinating the activities of AFU community organizations, developing the necessary regulatory and methodological documents and plans for practical activities for the system of spiritual and educational work;

- Organizing timely explanatory work for students, professors and teachers on the content and essence of decrees and resolutions adopted by the President and Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan. To this end, it is necessary to constantly improve legal literacy, organize special courses, organize spiritual and educational meetings, debates, dialogues, interviews, question-and-answer events on various topics;

- Ensure the timely delivery of documents adopted by the Ministry on spiritual and educational issues to the AFU team and their implementation;

- To eliminate the feeling of spiritual dependence among students and form in them the need to constantly develop their own thinking;

- Work in cooperation with law enforcement agencies to implement legal education and prevent crime;

- Organize a system for providing information about domestic and international life to teachers, students and the general public;

- Prepare and publish scientific, methodological and practical literature, manuals on spiritual and educational issues;

- Providing the departments of the humanitarian and socio-economic sciences with methodological and informational literature, manuals, etc., studying, analyzing issues of the potential and qualifications of professors and teachers, preparing relevant proposals;

- Preparing relevant proposals on the formation of the composition of the final state certification commissions in the humanitarian and socio-economic sciences;

- Carrying out spiritual and educational activities to organize students' free time meaningfully, organizing creative and artistic, sports and health clubs;

- Improving the activities of AFU sports clubs, training students in sports, ensuring their active participation in the "Universiade" sports competitions;

- Regularly monitoring the conditions of student dormitories at AFU to ensure that they fully meet the requirements of the students living there;

- Organizing reading and studying of fiction, high-quality works of art among students. To this end, special competitions, readers' conferences, meetings with authors and writers for the best interpretation, analysis and review of works of art, and incentives for winners are organized;
