‘Alfraganus University’ prepares qualified specialists for the labour market. The formation of qualification requirements is based on the wishes and needs of employers. The main content of specialised subjects is created on the basis of these requirements.

   Alfraganus University Master's Department

At Alfraganus University, the Master's Department was created in 2024. Currently, the magistracy operates in accordance with the ‘Regulations on the Master's Department’, approved by Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No.36 dated March 2, 2015.

In the university on 11 specialities 139 students on the 1st year of Master's degree and 195 on the 2nd year are trained. Master's programme is carried out at 9 departments of the university.

Highly qualified professors-teachers, scientists with academic degrees of Doctor of Science and Candidate of Science (PhD), as well as teachers with academic titles of professor and associate professor, as well as specialists with practical experience in the modernisation of the state and society, development of market economy, and informatisation of production are involved for conducting classes on the subjects of speciality and scientific guidance of master's theses. In addition, leading scientists from the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan and other prestigious higher educational institutions of the country have been invited to teach at the Master's programme.

Tasks of the Master's Department:

The Department of Master's Studies together with the chairs and dean's offices coordinates the training of Master's students:

assistance in the organisation and implementation of the educational process of Master's degree training, systematic control over the quality of education and training provided to them;

implementation of training, research and development activities;

Coordination and control of the activities of all faculties for Master's degree programmes;

ensures systematic monitoring of Master's students‘ training and their further employment, analyses the issues of Master's students’ training and prepares regular reports on them.

The bank of topics for master's theses of master's students of Alfraganus University was created on the basis of recommendations of leading professors-teachers of the university, research institutes and sectoral research institutes of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan and is a topical topic dedicated to the problems of development and improvement of modern social, economic, political and production processes.

In order to establish compliance of teaching with modern technical means and provision of scientific literature, accelerated introduction of new achievements of science and technology into the educational process, effective integration of education, science and production, increasing the practical contribution of customers to the process of Master's training, most of the defence of Master's theses is carried out in research institutes, academic lyceums and secondary educational institutions.

The Master's programme at Alfraganus University was established on the basis of licenses of the State Inspectorate for Supervision of the Quality of Education under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 050388 dated 25 November 2022 and No. 056557 dated 30 December 2022.
