The UI GreenMetric ranking is an international platform that evaluates universities based on criteria such as environmental management, green infrastructure, energy efficiency, waste recycling, water resource management, and sustainable transportation.

Alfraganus University improved its global ranking from 872nd place in 2024 to 733rd place in 2025, and within Uzbekistan from 27th to 22nd place.
The increase in the total score from 5310 to 6110 points demonstrates the effectiveness of the environmental reforms implemented by the university.

Growth in performance indicators was recorded in the following areas:

— Water Sustainability (WS)
— Waste & Recycling (WR)
— Transportation (TR)
— Education & Research (ED)

These results reflect the outcomes of systematic efforts to develop green infrastructure, implement energy-efficient technologies, optimize water consumption, strengthen waste recycling systems, and widely integrate sustainable development principles into education and research activities.
