Under the leadership of the Dean of the Faculty of Philology at Alfraganus University, Ziyodullo Rahmatullayev, a faculty council meeting was held.

During the meeting:

— Preparation for the 34th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan and holding it at a high level;

— Reviewing the work plans and educational-normative documents of the faculty for the 2025–2026 academic year in the educational-methodological and spiritual-enlightenment directions;

— Discussion of pressing issues such as the establishment of a foreign language teaching center at the faculty.

It was also announced that a Department of Russian Language and Literature has been established at the faculty. Associate Professor Timurbek Dilshodbekov was appointed as the head of this department and introduced to the faculty members.
