On April 17 of this year, a meeting was organized at the Faculty of Philology of Alfraganus University on the topic: “Development Principles of Modern Uzbek Prose.”

The event was organized by Associate Professor Salima Jumayeva and was attended by Khulyor Safarov — editor of the Uzbekistan History TV channel, member of the Writers' Union of Uzbekistan, and a writer — as well as Jasur Usmonov — senior editor, member of the Creative Union of Journalists of Uzbekistan, and a well-known TV presenter. Leading professors and lecturers of the faculty also actively participated, including Professor Normurod Hakimovich Avazov, Associate Professors Nazokat Gulmurodovna Jo‘rayeva, Ulug‘bek Qo‘chqorovich Ko‘chimov, Masrur No‘monjonovich Rahimjonov, and lecturers Shohista Maxmudova, Bobur Nusratov, and Ma’rifat Anarbayeva.

The literary and educational event was held in the form of an engaging discussion. At the end of the event, the Deputy Dean for Spiritual-Educational and Upbringing Affairs of the faculty expressed gratitude to all participants.
