The GreenCamUz project — “Green Campus Initiative: Integrating Sustainability into Higher Education in Uzbekistan”, funded under the European Union’s Erasmus+ international grant program, has officially commenced its activities.

The project will be implemented during 2025–2028 and is aimed at the systematic integration of sustainable development principles into the higher education system and academic curricula.

Within the framework of the project, efforts will focus on strengthening environmental responsibility in higher education institutions, developing the “green campus” concept, and training specialists with a sustainability-oriented mindset.

The GreenCamUz initiative is being implemented in alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and the European Union’s priorities on environmental sustainability.
