A seminar was held at the Faculty of Philology of Alfraganus University with the participation of a delegation from Southern Federal University (SFedU) in Rostov-on-Don, Russian Federation.

The delegation was led by N.V. Karpovskaya, the Rector’s Plenipotentiary Representative and Director of the International Institute of Interdisciplinary Education and Ibero-American Studies at SFedU. The meeting was organized within the framework of the memorandum signed between the two universities.
During the seminar, detailed information was presented on the following topics:
— Professional development courses for professors teaching Russian language and literature offered by SFedU;
— Doctoral study opportunities;
— Scientific and methodological cooperation;
— Editorial work in scientific journals and other relevant issues.

Additionally, Professor (acting) Sh. Sultonova of Alfraganus University received an official invitation to join the editorial board of SFedU's scientific journal, participate in thesis defenses, and give lectures as a visiting professor.

This cooperation aims to further strengthen academic and scientific ties between the two higher education institutions.
