To ensure the implementation of the tasks set at the video selector meeting on "Further development of the Olympic and Paralympic movement, bringing mass sports to a new level, and increasing the physical activity of the population", held on February 13, 2025, under the chairmanship of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, sports competitions were organized among the heads of higher educational institutions located in Tashkent.

This sports event was held under the name "Vazir’s Cup", aiming to enhance the physical activity of university rectors and directors, promote a healthy lifestyle, and strengthen friendship and cooperation through sports. Competitions were held in mini-football, table tennis, and chess.

The rector of Alfraganus University, Muxammadismoil Maxmudov, also actively participated in the tournament. He took part in the mini-football matches with his team, demonstrating his passion for sports and physical fitness.

This competition was not only a sports contest but also served as a means to further strengthen communication and cooperation among leaders through sports.
