An international scientific-practical conference titled “Global Environmental Issues, Desertification, and Food Security” was held at Uzbekistan State University of World Languages in cooperation with the Ecological Party of Uzbekistan and the international journal Science and Innovation.

The event brought together scientists and professors from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Afghanistan, and Kyrgyzstan.

At the conference, Farrukhjon Kamoliddinov — a student of the Faculty of Medicine at Alfraganus University and the head of the “Youth of Alfraganus” club — delivered a presentation titled “The Impact of Dust Storms on Human Health – A New Environmental Threat”. He shared valuable insights on respiratory diseases and preventive measures.

At the end of the conference, he was awarded a certificate of appreciation and souvenir gifts by the organizers.
